Biomedical Department of Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology was established in fall-2013 and is now functioning under Mr. Muhammad Hanzala Farooq. The department is working24/7. Biomedical Department is responsible for functioning of biomedical equipment in the hospital. This department holds the key of the hospital functioning. Biomedical department also looks after the procurement of the new equipment for the hospital as well as looks after the maintenance and warranty of the previously installed equipment.
